He was a small business owner and worked his ass off — as did my mom — so that my sisters and me could have a pretty privileged life, all things considered. I can attribute a lot of my successes (and s

Self Help
Teen Mom 2 star, Leah Messer, has taken to social media to post about a recent transformation in her life. The mother of three spent some time out in Los Angeles recently, but her time in the City of Angels didn’t have anything to do with the filming of her reality TV show. It’s safe to say that Joet Gonzalez isn’t short on motivation ahead of the biggest fight of his career. The unbeaten featherweight is days away from a vacant featherweight title clash versus Shakur Stevenson, a fight he’s envisioned for years and for a belt he’s craved since 2019 began. “This is the opportunity I’ve wanted all year, and can’t think of a better opponent to beat to win the title,” Gonzalez (23-0, 14KOs) told BoxingScene.com of his long building grudge match with Stevenson (12-0, 7KOs), which airs live on ESPN+ from Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Reno, Nevada. “There are a lot of things Shakur has said and done. Dr. Adrian Pujayana DO you ever think about what it took to build the enormous structures that existed all around the ancient world? The seven ancient wonders were built between 2650 B.C. and 240 B.C. by people who had no computers, calculators or power tools such as drills and saws.  Everything was done by hand — and, we speculate, by rudimentary tools in the hands of tens of thousands of laborers. The seven ancient wonders included: 1. The Great Pyramid at Giza, Egypt. Estimated to be nearly 4,500 years old and made up of some 2 million stone blocks that weigh two to 30 tons each! 2. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Iraq. Built around 600 B.C., they may have spanned 56 miles and been 80 feet thick and 320 feet high. 3. Statue of Zeus at Olympia, Greece. Sculpted in 435 B.C., this

PJ Washington. (NBA Photo) By LARRY VAUGHT Remember not long after Charlotte made P.J. Washington the 12th overall pick in June’s NBA draft and then Hornets general manager Mitch Kupchak hinted that the Kentucky star might spend some in the G League this season. Well, he still might see the G League but it’s going to be a while after he scored 27 points on 7-for-11 shooting from 3-point range in his NBA debut Wednesday that helped the Hornets beat Chicago 126-125.Washington’s seven 3s set an NBA record for a player making his debut — something he had no idea about until he was told during a postgame radio interview. “Definitely I used that as motivation,” Washington said when asked about the g League. “It’s not a bad thing to go down to the G League and produce and get some playing time
