Gerry Duffy, professional speaker and writer on "motivation" and "goal setting", will be in Carlow on February 28 to guide Carlow businesses through the process of setting great goals and how we can make 2019 our best year yet.
Goal setting is a powerful process for thinking about your future, and for motivating yourself to turn your vision into reality.
The process of setting goals helps you choose where you want to go in life.
At the age of 27, Gerry found himself stuck in a rut and made some changes in his life, establishing his own business in 2003 and embracing a very different lifestyle.
He is known for having completed 32 marathons in 32 days and many other endurance adventures.
Brian O’Farrell, CEO of County Carlow Chamber, said: "We are delighted to welcome Gerry Duffy to Carlow to speak on goal setting and how we can work to make the impossible possible.
"Gerry is a very inspiring speaker, and this is definitely going to be one of the events not to be missed in Carlow this year."
The event has been arranged by County Carlow Chamber in association with Carlow Kilkenny Skillnet and will be hosted in the Woodford Dolmen Hotel on February 28.
To attend the event, tickets can be booked directly on www.carlowchamber.com, tickets are €30 per person or €15 for members of County Carlow Chamber.
